FOREST CITY — Derek Kreutzfeldt scored 15 points and grabbed three rebounds in Dakota State’s 3-point victory.

MASON CITY — The NIACC women’s basketball team fell to 0-2 on the season losing to Illinois Central 89-61 in the opening night of the Konigsmark Klassic.
NIACC’s Tifanny Braun led all scores with 20 points, while Nicole Eenhuis added 15 points for the Lady Trojans.
NIACC hosts Anoka-Ramsey at 4 p.m. today.

Amanda Bryant led Dana (3-1) with 17 points.
Waldorf (0-2) was led by Sarah Swanson with 15 points. Kate Milbrandt was next in line with 14 points and Ali March scored 13 points.

MARSHALLTOWN — NIACC fell to Iowa Falls 3-0 in regional tournament play on Friday.
Iowa Lakes won 25-22, 25-17, 25-21.
Erin Kelley led NIACC the way with 18 assists while Sarah Heineman added seven kills. Jayna Blome had 18 digs.
NIACC finished its season with a record of 15-28, 3-11.
