Chris Frenz

Head Coach - Men's and Women's Golf

   Coach Frenz, a graduate of Rockwell-Swaledale High School, is in

   his fourth year as Head Golf coach at NIACC. An avid golfer

   throughout high school and college, he was a member of the 1985

   state championship team. After high school, Frenz went to Brown

   College in Minneapolis specializing in Broadcasting. 

   Frenz became the head coach at NIACC in September of 2006 and

   has consistently seen his men's and women's program battling for the top spot in the conference.  Six of the NIACC Women's golfers have qualified for the National Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida during his tenure.  Frenz wants his golfers to find success not only on the golf course, but in the classroom as well and puts a heavy emphasis on education. 

Along with his golf duties, Frenz is the enrollment specialist for Adults in the NIACC admissions office.  Chris and wife Jackie reside in Mason City.  They have four children Kelsey, Isaac, Nicholas, and Jessalyn.
