NIACC GOLFERS WIN OWN INVITE

 

        The NIACC Men’s Golf Team won the Fall NIACC Trojan invite at the Highland Park Golf Course on Tuesday.

 

       The NIACC Gold team won with a score of 293, DMACC was second with a 297 and Ellsworth took third with 310.

 

       Spencer Sage, who is fro Mason City, led the NIACC Gold team with a 71, which was good for runner-up for medalist honors.

 

       “We did a tremendous job of taking care of business on our home course and really had to battle all the way to the end,” NIACC Coach Chris Frenz said. “Spencer was draining putts all over the place and has really been impressive this fall season.”

 

         No scores were kept for the women’s  meet.
