BURLINGTON (April 10, 2007) – The North Iowa Area Community College men’s golf team finished sixth out of 10 teams at the Southeastern Community College Invite Monday as Andrew Cullen (Clear Lake/HS) finished in a tie for fifth with an 18-hole score of 80.

The Trojans, coached by Chris Frenz, had a team total of 349 as Iowa Wesleyan College won the meet with a score of 320. Matt Mostrom (Ventura/HS) was second among NIACC golfers with an 88, followed by Justin Abell (Rockford/Rockford Rudd-Marble Rock) and his high school teammate Greg Engels, who shot 90 and 91 respectively.

NIACC plays next at 10 a.m. Thursday in a meet held in Marshalltown at Elmwood Country Club.
