About NIACC Continuing Education
The mission of the Continuing Education Division of North Iowa Area Community College is to provide lifelong learning opportunities that enhance the quality of life in the North Iowa community. Continuing Education is an active community partner that provides learning opportunities that are available throughout the nine-county area. In addition to learning opportunities that occur on the NIACC campus, there are also many opportunities provided at our community centers in Charles City, Garner, Hampton, Lake Mills and Osage as well as other locations in many schools and communities.
Over 5,000 courses are held each year, in which there are over 72,000 enrollments. Learning opportunities are available for leisure and recreation studies, business management, computer skills, summer camp for kids (elementary and middle school age), New Opportunities for the Wise (senior programming), lean enterprise skills for all types of businesses, trade skills and lifelong learning through the Lifelong Learning Institute.
