Upon completion of the
first year (first two terms) of the program, students may be awarded a NIACC diploma.
To be awarded a diploma, students must successfully complete a
30-semester-hour program of study, to include English and Mathematics
general education requirements.
Upon completion of the two-year curriculum with a grade point average of
2.00 (C), the student is awarded an Associate in Applied Science degree
in Industrial Technology. Students who know they with to pursue a
four-year degree and want to meet general education requirements of
transfer institutions should pursue the A.A. degree. This will
necessitate a slightly different curriculum.
