Course Description:
The study of the development of the visual arts
of western civilization including painting, sculpture, architecture,
crafts, and photography from the Renaissance through the present time.

Equivalent to 10:103, ARTS-105.
Regardless of what career area one has chosen, this course is full of meaningful information. It gives the student an international perspective about how people’s cultures and histories have unfolded since the 1400’s.
This course follows the NIACC semester schedule with specific due dates for assignments, tests and research papers.
