Course Description:
Emphasis on business applications of computer
software. Students do business problems using word processing,
electronic spreadsheet, and database management software. (45-0)
Equivalent to 15-134, COMP-101.
Notes: E - Proctered Exams, S - This course uses Microsoft Office 2003 Professional which includes MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access. The student must have access to a computer with this suite of programs. Office is available in most of the student computer labs at NIACC and the NIACC Charles City Center. There is also a student version that is available for sale at retail stores and online retailers that sell computer software.
