Course Description:
This course provides students with an introduction to
entrepreneurship and new venture creation. Students will examine the
characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, and develop insight on developing
and enhancing creativity and innovation. Students also will learn the process of
assessing new venture proposals and understand components of a
business/feasibility plan.
This practical and inspiring course is a must have for people who want to start
their own business or those who want to be more innovative in the corporate
setting. Internet access for on-line content and the use of a VCR to review
tapes is required to complement printed materials.
After registration through NIACC, students will receive instructions on how to
access all on-line course components. Contact the instructor via e-mail after
