Online Course Exam Proctor Information
Proctor Description:
A proctor is an individual who agrees to receive the tests from the
student’s instructor, administer them in an approved environment, and
return them to the instructor. The proctor must verify the student
completed the test according to the specific instructions provided by
the instructor. In some cases the student will take the test online
using ANGEL or another test management program. In this case a
password is sent to the proctor. After the student logs in to the
course and clicks to start the test the proctor at the approved
testing center will enter the
password in to the computer so that the student may gain access to the
online test in a controlled environment.
