Continuing education units will be awarded on the basis of actual presence and attendance and on satisfactory completion of the program. Participants need to be present for the entirety of the program to receive continuing education credit.

Programs throughout this site with the Iowa Medical Society logo have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Iowa Medical Society (IMS) through the joint sponsorship of Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa and North Iowa Area Community College. Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa is accredited by the IMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Refunds: Fees are due upon pre-registration for the program. Students who notify the college of intent to drop a Continuing Education class before the class start date, will receive a 100% refund. No refund will be issued for failing to attend the class. In the event that the college cancels a class, 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
Prepayment for classes is now required. Registration is not processed until payment is received.
Additional Information: Professional license numbers, acd EMS numbers are needed for registration and permanent record keeping.
Program fees include handouts and record keeping costs, unless otherwise stated with each course listing.
