What's Acrobat? What's PDF?

Thousands of Internet Sites publish on the Internet with PDF (Portable Document File). The benefit of downloading our PDFs is that they are the same documents we print and mail, in a compressed form that's quick to download, once you have the Acrobat Reader (see next section to download).

Adobe Acrobat Document Look for this icon throughout our site--it is the link to a PDF document.

All of our Distance Learning Programs are PDF documents and require you to install Acrobat Reader.

If you are seeing an error message when you open the document (something about a “Bad encrypt dictionary,” for instance) you need to update your version of Adobe Reader from Version 6.0 -- you can do this through the Reader's menu (Help/Check for updates now). Sorry for the inconvenience.

Get the free Acrobat Reader from Adobe (follow the link on their homepage). You’ll be able to download materials from thousands of Internet sites, including our Continuing Ed. brochures.
