Education: Vital To Health Care and Healthy Living

Education is a basic component in preventing, understanding, treating, and coping with health issues. Education provides health professionals--such as doctors, nurses, therapists, and ambulance personnel--with the knowledge and skills to help people who suffer from almost every conceivable illness or injury.

Continuing education keeps those same professionals up-to-date on the latest developments, to ensure that they provide the best possible care.

Education helps many people who are ill or injured, as they search for ways to improve their conditions, or cope with life-long conditions.

Education provides many other people with the ability to care for and protect themselves from many types of diseases and injuries.

As expert facilitators of continual learning, the Regional Health Education Center’s mission is to empower our learners by advancing their competencies

Payment is required at the time of registration. We are eliminating the late fee for registration and/or late payment to better serve your needs. We need your cooperation to pre-register for classes. The decision to hold or cancel most classes will be made on the date of the pre-registration deadline. If you do not pre-register, you take the chance that the class will not be held. If you wait to register at the door, there may not be enough handouts, refreshments, or food. You can cancel your registration up to the start of the program, so there is no risk to you to pre-register. Out-of-state tuition is 1½ times listed tuition.
